What is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coating is one of the biggest advancements the detailing industry has ever seen. A Ceramic coating is a protectant that bonds to your vehicles paint that lasts for years to come. The key compound found in a ceramic coating is SiO2. Be advised, all products that advertise SiO2 or “ceramic detail spray” are not the same as a quality Ceramic coating. Ceramic Coatings last longer than waxes or sealants, are more durable, and also allow your vehicle to be cleaned easier. A ceramic coating also adds more gloss to your vehicles paint than a wax or sealant. This is a replacement for needing to wax your vehicle every month. Ceramic coatings prevent contaminants from sticking to your vehicles paint such as bugs and bird droppings. These are the two most common complaints, due to the fact they are difficult to remove. After a ceramic coating is applied, these contaminates are almost completely removed by using high pressure water.
